GOING THE DISTANCE Photos for a cover and feature story for Pathlight Magazine about Lindsay Thurman, a Louisville, Ky., teacher who has returned to running again after a medication change following a 2008 idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) diagnosis. After speaking with Lindsay about her running practice, I came up with a plan to obtain the coverage I discussed with the editor, Linda Busche. I followed Lindsay on a regular run day with and interruption for a lit portrait for the cover.
